Install Flash Player Really great project. My daughter said, "Santa did a good job getting a rock from space". Excellent information book that came in the box. Great way to get your child interested in astronomy. Out of all the toys under the tree, this will be the gift that gets talked about in school. Good Job Nat Geo! Thank you very much.

Fun
Got this for my 7 year old for xmas. He loves rocks and space even more. He was so excited that this had a real meteorite in it. It's a smal kit (and even smaller rock fragment) but it took him probably about 3 hours over the course of a couple days to dig it out. I wish maybe the included pamphlet contained more info, so it would've been more "educational", but either way he loved it. I recommend you do it on a towel or in a large tupperware or something to help contain the dust.

Very happy with this!
Bought this for my son as a Christmas gift. He was super excited. It took a lil bit to dig the pieces out, but it was worth it. It makes a mess, but nothing a vacuum and a wet paper towel can't clean up. Was very happy with this purchase.
